Adobe provides a connector, called Asset Link, that allows for designers, from inside their Creative Cloud product, to directly connect to Experience Manager, to check out assets to modify them, or to simply upload their own assets into the DAM. Similar to Asset Link, the Bounteous Connector allows for product managers in Adobe to directly reference assets stored in Experience Manager—the same assets to which the creative team has direct access as well!

When setting up the connector, whether you are serving assets through Experience Manager or directly through Adobe Commerce, be sure to choose a secure passphrase that will be shared between the systems. Once this configuration is complete on both the Experience Manager and Adobe Commerce sides you are able to immediately start associating your Adobe Commerce products with images stored in Experience Manager!

Experiment with metadata. The connector can natively configure metadata to pass between Adobe Commerce and Experience Manager, and with Experience Manager's Metadata Schema Editor, it's easy to have these values surface in the properties of the assets when viewed in Experience Manager. There's also a custom Adobe Commerce schema included in the connector code as a head start. Work with your product team to identify some key data that would be beneficial to pass along (e.g. categories, keywords for searching, etc).
