Challenge
The development team at this Information Technology Company for the funerary services industry noticed some challenges with inefficiencies, largely due to the repetitive nature of code creation, manual reviews, and the hands-on effort needed to develop and maintain complex Terraform scripts. They also found that valuable engineering time was wasted to research solutions for spike tickets, which added difficulties to both development and quality assurance processes.

To enhance developer productivity and streamline infrastructure development, we embedded AI-integrated solutions in their workflows. Leveraging GitHub Copilot, code is now automatically generated along with providing the ability to create infrastructure-as-code templates, significantly reducing the time for development.
To address the time lost with Terraform scripts, OpenAI and ChatGPT aids developers in writing and reviewing Terraform configurations. This reduces the time to generate technical documentation and expedites research tasks for spike tickets. As a result, we achieved:
